Liam is a Gawler local, who graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours in 2016 from the University of South Australia. Since then he has gone on to complete his Level 1 & 2 Sports Physiotherapy, his Level 1 & 2 Paediatric Physiotherapy, and he is also currently completing his Masters in Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy through LaTrobe University. Liam's special interest include musculoskeletal injuries, sporting injuries and paediatric physiotherapy. Liam also runs Physioactive’s NDIS clinic, and treats a number of paediatric and adult conditions utilising our large gym and rehab space.
Besides working for Physioactive, Liam also works for Hockey South Australia as a Physiotherapist for Under 21 Men's State Hockey Team and Physiotherapist for the Adelaide Fire Mens team in the Hockey I League. Previously he has also worked for the Hockey Australia Masters Over 60s Men's Team, the Under 18 Men’s State Hockey Team and the Adelaide Storm Volleyball Team. He has also previously worked for Volleyball South Australia for their junior state teams, Port Adelaide Magpies in the SANFL and for the Eastern Edge in the SACA Premier League Competition.
Outside of being a Physiotherapist Liam enjoys Cricket, AFL and the NBA. He is also a keen cook, who is rumoured to do a mean carbonara. He has a strong belief for effective physiotherapy to occur, a good relationship between the patient and therapist should be formed as communication plays a vital role in overall treatment success.
